Bern, December 9th 2020. There is two good news for those who use #cannabis to relieve chronic pain and muscle spasms.
The first comes from the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs, which decided on 2 December to remove medical marijuana from the list of the world’s most dangerous drugs. This step “opens up new prospects for its use in medicine”, comments the Groupement romand d’études des addictions (#GREA).
The second piece of good news, more recent, came from the Swiss parliament. On Tuesday, a clear majority of the National Council (lower house) approved the amendment to the Federal Narcotics Law presented by the government, which facilitates access to cannabis-based treatments.
